This year’s celebration holds special importance as it marks the 95th anniversary of the founding of the NAACP Main Line Branch. Since its inception, the branch has been a beacon of hope and a powerful voice for civil rights in the region. From fighting for the desegregation of schools, housing, and employment to protecting the voting rights of African Americans, the branch has made monumental strides in the pursuit of justice and equality.
Jonathan, as chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, will speak about the shared commitment to standing against all forms of hate.
