Mike Margolis Named as One of China Business Law Journal’s “A-List Visionaries” for 2024–2025

Blank Rome is pleased to announce that China’s leading legal industry publication, the China Business Law Journal (“CBLJ”), has named partner Mike Margolis, chair of the firm’s Asia Practice and Shanghai office, to the CBLJ’s prestigious A-List in the “Visionaries” category for the second consecutive year.

The A-List Visionaries are described as “seasoned legal luminaries who have distinguished themselves both within and beyond their firms.” They serve in key management positions, exceling in their profession and developing sharp industry insight to steer their firms’ strategic growth. The A-List Visionaries are also dedicated to improving the legal field. They actively spearhead business innovation, support charitable causes, and assist industry associations and public institutions.

The CBLJ invited Chinese and global in-house counsel, executives, and partners from Chinese and international law firms, and outside legal experts, to nominate attorneys for this honor. Attorneys were not allowed to nominate themselves or colleagues practicing at the same firm. After receiving thousands of nominations, the publication sent invitations to nominated attorneys to submit further personal declarations before selecting the final Visionaries.

Mike has been a trusted adviser, and trial and appellate lawyer, for over 30 years. He has handled major cases involving cross-border litigation, intellectual property disputes, financial and real estate conflicts, M&A break-ups, compliance issues, employment and fraud disputes, Anti-Terrorism Act litigation, and class actions. For over 20 years, Mike has traveled regularly in Greater China. He has advised many Chinese companies and investors about how to use law and strategy to succeed in the United States.
