Sarah M. Luetto

Biography

Sarah Luetto is engaged in a wide range of family law matters, including both high-conflict cases involving contentious litigation and cases involving solutions-focused, negotiated settlements. She has extensive experience representing high profile and high net worth clients with diverse asset portfolios across the spectrum of family law, including divorce, custody and access rights, parenting plan assessments, child support and spousal maintenance, domestic violence, and complex financial matters. Her experience includes the valuation and division of intellectual property, restricted stock units (“RSUs”), real estate holdings, and other sophisticated financial interests.

Sarah is recognized as a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California (effective as of January 1, 2025). This certification is granted only after rigorous examination, extensive experience in the field of family law, and significant continuing education in family law. She is also a graduate of the nationally recognized Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, Texas.

In 2020, the Beverly Hills Bar Association Family Law Symposium included Sarah on their panel with the aim of addressing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the complex challenges being faced by family law clients.

In addition to her private practice, Sarah serves on the board of the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, a legal non-profit organization in Los Angeles that provides free legal services, education, and advocacy to low-income individuals in family law matters. The Buhai Center empowers clients to protect themselves and their children from domestic violence, poverty, and instability.

Prior to being admitted to the State Bar of California, Sarah volunteered extensively in her chosen field of family law. While attending the University of California, Los Angeles, Sarah was a member of Americorp’s Justice Corp program and completed her service hours in the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Guardianship Clinic and in the Family Law Self-Help Clinic, where she provided assistance to self-represented family law litigants. While attending law school at the University of Southern California, Sarah assisted low- income families in need at the Harriett Buhai Center and completed a judicial externship with a family law judicial officer at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Outside the Firm

In her free time, Sarah enjoys trying new restaurants, taking exercise classes, attending concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, and traveling (in particular to Italy to visit her extended family).
