Timothy J. Miller

Biography

Timothy (“Timmy”) J. Miller concentrates their practice on general litigation, trade secrets, and competitive hiring.

Timmy previously served as a summer associate at Blank Rome. Prior to joining Blank Rome, Timmy served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard A. Lloret at the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a legal intern at GlaxoSmithKline, Inc., as well as the assistant executive director at JURIST Legal News and Research, Inc.

During law school, Timmy competed on the National Trial Team and was a teaching assistant for legal writing and intellectual property courses. Timmy also served as a chair for the Faculty Search Committee and held positions as treasurer and parliamentarian for the Student Bar Association. At their graduation, Timmy was chosen by the faculty to receive the Captain Robert Miller Knox Award as the graduating student who had made the most outstanding contributions to the law school community.

Timmy continues to coach and mentor students in trial advocacy as an adjunct professor for the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Outside the Firm

Timmy enjoys reading great books, playing the violin, and traveling the world. They live with their partner, Dan, and their two cats, Gus and Toby, who they rescued with a Blank Rome co-worker while they were a summer associate.

Professional Activities

In addition to their practice, Timmy is an adjunct professor for the Temple University Beasley School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Program, where Timmy serves as a coach and mentor for students on the National Trial Team. Timmy has coached multiple award-winning teams, including the champions of the 2024 Capitol City Challenge and 2024 Premiere Mock Trial Competition.

Timmy is also involved with a variety of pro bono activities. They have prepared wills and end-of-life documents for senior citizens through the SeniorLAW Center, aided clients with asylum and refugee applications, and represented LGBT+ clients in name-change proceedings.
